The two “Optimistic Travelers” helped 3 young South Africans to make their dream come true and fly to France thanks to the Cooperation between the Western Cape and the region Bourgogne!
Muammer Yilmaz and Milan Bihlman from Optimistic Traveler - respectively from France and Germany- began their second epic journey around the world which started in South Africa to end in Ethiopia. Their new adventure was made possible thanks to the funds they collected after the publication of their book: Around the world for 80 days with no money. They are back this time to help non-profit organizations and individuals to achieve their dreams and projects.
During their stay in Cape Town, on the request of the NGO “Olu’s dream”, they made a promotion video of their activity in the townships that aims at reducing the illiteracy rate of young children ; they planted trees with the GreenPop organization and got involved with the Amy Biehl Foundation.
During a conference at the Alliance Française, they announced to three young South Africans from the Amy Biehl Foundation that they would fund their plane tickets to France so they can volunteer in disadvantaged communities in the context of the Cooperation existing between the region Bourgogne and the Western Cape.
Thanks to Optimistic Traveler, the three young people will be able to fly to France and make a dream come true !
Congratulations to them and safe travels!
