Screening of the documentary film "Demain" at the Alliance Française on October, 25th!
The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) in collaboration with the Alliance Française du Cap invites you to the screening of the documentary film "Demain".
Demain meaning Tomorrow, is a French documentary film which tells a story on ideas that aim to solve ecological, social and economic issues plaguing our planet. The film weaves in initiatives that have proven successful in ten countries around the world. This César Award winning documentary film by Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent conveys concrete examples of solutions to environmental and social challenges of the twenty-first century, in the agriculture, energy, economy, education and governance sector.
The AFD is the French Development Agency that is committed to partnering with South Africa to achieve sustainable development by financing initiatives that will enhance South Africa’s development goals. Click here to find out more about the AFD in South Africa.
The screening will be followed by an open discussion, presentations of local initiatives that resonate with the movie, and a cocktail dinner.
