Economic diplomacy - Event "Choiseul 100 Africa", 16 June [fr]
M. Laurent Fabius met on 16 June at the Quai d’Orsay, 62 young African economic leaders, laureates of the first edition of "Choiseul 100 Africa".
"Choiseul 100 Africa" introduced business men and women who contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the continent.
They are less than 40 years old, represent 27 different nationalities (60% are French-speaking). These young leaders are peculiarly active in the new technologies, services, finance and energy fields. They hire more than 300 000 persons in Africa and their economic activity represents 90b€.
Among these 100 laureates, 10 are South-African business men and women. One of them ranked sixth. Here is the list of these laureates and their activities:
