Pierre-Marie Oullion, French artistic director of the Nuits Sonores Festival, is participating to the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival !
Established in 2012 as a platform for South Africa’s burgeoning electronic music culture, the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival has gained international recognition for being one of the most relevant and forward-thinking events on Africa’s music festival calendar, where international pioneers and innovators share the stage with the bright lights of the South African scene, while the inner workings of this rapidly growing industry are unpacked and explored through a prestigious workshop program.
IFAS, together with CTEMF, invited Pierre-Marie Oullion, artistic director of the Nuits Sonores festival (Lyon) to take part in the CTEMF 6th edition workshops program.
These electronic music industry sessions are a crucial part of the festival’s ethos and are held over the three days preceding the main event, promoting the local scene and inspiring young South Africans to delve deeper into music and become a part of this dynamic industry.
Held in conjunction with Bridges For Music, the workshops are open to the public and are streamed online.
IFAS is proud to support the workshop on Thursday 9th Feb - 14:00-16:00 at Guga S’thebe, Langa.
